Alexis Wesley, MD, is a compassionate and highly skilled Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist specializing in Reproductive Psychiatry (perimenopause, menopause, pregnancy, postpartum), Women's Mental Health, anxiety, mood disorders, insomnia, and ADHD at WCWCW. She serves patients in Bethesda, Maryland, and across Montgomery County and the Greater Washington area, and is licensed in MD, VA, and DC.
She specializes in supporting women before, during, and after pregnancy, providing holistic care for infertility, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and transitions in motherhood. Dr. Wesley also works closely with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other developmental challenges, recognizing the importance of whole-family mental health.
She is deeply committed to early identification and treatment of postpartum depression and to improving access to compassionate, stigma-free mental health care.
Dr. Wesley completed her Child Psychiatry training at Children's National Hospital and Adult Psychiatry training at George Washington University, after earning her medical degree from the University of Connecticut and her undergraduate degree from Yale University.
