Amy Pelletier

Amy Pelletier, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker at WCWCW in Bethesda, Maryland, with over 20 years of experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Montgomery County and the Greater Washington area. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, and emotional and behavioral challenges, fertility and postpartum concerns, bullying, and family stress.
Amy focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a supportive environment where clients can explore emotions, understand behavior patterns, and develop effective coping skills. When working with children and teens, she uses a warm, engaging approach while also supporting parents in helping their children manage emotions and challenges.
She earned her Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago and is trained in CBT, play therapy, sand tray therapy, SPACE, and Theraplay®, as well as specialized training from the Postpartum Stress Center supporting women during pregnancy and postpartum adjustment.
